Catholic Family Counselling Centre (Region Of Waterloo)  Grant Story

(Some of their current partners include the Waterloo Catholic District School Board, K-W Alzheimer Society, Seniors and Medication Project, Community Action Program for Children (CAPC), Karen Walk Neighbourhood Association, Waterloo District Board of Education, Woolwich Community Services, and the Sexual Assault Treatment Centre and the Waterloo Region Wraparound Initiative.)

Waterloo Region Domestic Violence Collaborative

To fund the construction of an addition to house the 10 co-located agencies providing essential services to victims of domestic violence and their families, and to assist with the coordination costs of the collaboration.

Social Planning Council of Cambridge & North Dumfries

A grant to help build on the success of an earlier pilot for “Building Community Capacity in Rural Waterloo Region”. It will do this by broadening the geographic scope to include all four rural townships in Waterloo Region, by providing funds to address multiple determinants of health, and by adding quarterly skill development workshops and inter-community knowledge sharing opportunities.
