A grant to assist CFCC to develop a sustainability plan for the Families and Schools Together (F&ST) programme. Families and Schools Together (F&ST), is a successful prevention and early intervention programme promoting the positive development of children in eight elementary schools.

A contribution to building a new home for K-W Counselling Services at 48 Charles Street E., Kitchener, ON. K-W Counselling Services offers families and couples a combination of therapeutic counselling, parenting workshops, community outreach, and other family-supportive programmes.

To establish the Hallman Founding Director for the School of Pharmacy at the Downtown Kitchener Health Sciences Campus. This grant was instrumental in assisting the University of Waterloo to secure approval for Ontario’s second school of pharmacy. The establishment of the School of Pharmacy in downtown Kitchener is part of a larger goal to revitalize the downtown core and attract new industry to the region.
