Applications & Deadlines


February 15th, 2012 - Higher Education    

This program is open to Conestoga College, Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo.  Preference is given to projects focused on child and youth development, increasing access to higher education for underprivileged students, and strong community connections.

September 15th, 2012 - Children’s Initiatives

This program supports projects aimed at healthy child development for children aged 0 – 12 in Waterloo Region.  Prevention and early-intervention strategies are given preference.

 

September 15th, 2012 - Lynda Silvester Award “Community Collaboration for Children”

This award supports community collaborative planning and action around programs and services for families with children aged 0 - 10 across Waterloo Region.  The award is to be used for one or two day activities needed periodically by collaborative planning groups to further their existing initiatives.

April 15th, 2013 - Children & Youth Capital

This program supports capital projects that increase access to recreation and character-building activities for children and youth aged 0 – 16 from low-income families in Waterloo Region.

September 15th, 2013 – Healthcare

This program is open to Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Grand River Hospital and St. Mary’s General Hospital.  Grants may be given for capital needs, program development and training and professional development.
