September 15, 2010 - Children's Initiatives

Applications aimed at healthy child development for children birth to twelve years old in Waterloo Region. No capital request.

September 15, 2010 - Lynda Silvester Award "Community Collaboration for Children"

Applications from existing collaboratives designed to further the development of community collaborative planning and action. The goal is to achieve a full spectrum of programs and services to support families with children from birth to ten years old across Waterloo Region.

February 15, 2011 - Capital Grants related to Children and Youth

Applications for contributions to capital projects designed to increase access to recreation and character building activities for children ages 0-16 years old from low-income families in Waterloo Region.

April 15, 2011 - Healthcare

Applications restricted to those from Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Grand River Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital.

Information Sessions:

Organizations wishing to apply for grants from the Children's Initiatives, Lynda Silvester Award and Children and Youth Capital grant programs are invited to sign up for one of the following information sessions:

July 15, 2010 - Kitchener 9-11am

July 22, 2010 - Kitchener 9-11am

July 29, 2010 - Cambridge 9-11am

Details on the funding priorities and application process for each grant program will be discussed.
