Who can apply?

As a charitable foundation registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation may only make grants to registered charities or other qualified donees under the Income Tax Act

Note: Registered charities are assigned a nine-digit number followed by RR0001.

The Foundation recognizes there are fewer registered charities in rural communities. If your organization is not a registered charity or qualified donee, but you have a proposal that meets the Foundation’s funding priorities and criteria, please email us at info@lshallmanfdn.org with a brief outline of your organization and project proposal. We may be able to assist.

 

Geographical area

Lyle Hallman called Waterloo Region home and when he was afforded the opportunity to help others, he chose to do so primarily within this Region. The Foundation continues this tradition.
