Camp Sponsorship
The Waterloo Region Record - Lyle S. Hallman Foundation "Kids to Camp" Programme.
In 2008, the Foundation partnered with the Waterloo Record, the Cambridge and North Dumfries Community Foundation and The Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation to increase the opportunity for children from low-income families in Waterloo Region to attend summer camp.
Each year charitable organizations may apply to the Cambridge and North Dumfries Community Foundation and/or The Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation for a grant to provide camp sponsorships.
The Foundation through it's support to "Kids to Camp"has helped hundreds of children each year experience the joy of camp.
